Today I am 4 Months Pregnant!!! Which is 16 weeks. I am almost half way there!!
My belly is getting bigger, and the baby seems to be in a sleeping/moving pattern all ready.
I usually feel the baby moving in the evening times and at night before I go to bed.
Last week I was just exhausted all week. Especially after the little ER incident. But so far this week I am feeling pretty good! Lisa and I got the pool Vacuumed out, and I am finally catching up on the laundry!
I hope this week is very uneventful pregnancy wise!
I will be pretty busy next week!! Clara will be in town by the end of this week, and next Monday Donna, Jeff and Robin are coming! (Chase is at camp.) I can't believe June is right around the corner all ready!!

Prenatal Appointment Was Today
So, I had a prenatal appointment today.
I informed my Dr. of what happened previously this week with the bleeding. He said if I have not completely stopped bleeding by Friday to let him know.
Yes, unfortunately I am still spotting.
He did an ultrasound today and I am very disappointed to say he could not tell me what this little stinker is. But, the baby is fine and wiggling as normal. I still feel the baby wiggling a lot too.
I am not going to worry about the spotting much. My baby is actively moving, and my cervix is closed. So, unless the bleeding gets worse, or I experience pain, I will just go on normally.
Oh and the Dr. took me off of bed rest today. He told me to just listen to my body and if I notice the bleeding is worse to stop whatever I am doing and take it easy.
This baby will make it. I know it will. It might kill me to carry it and deliver it, but there will be a baby in the end! I have all ready met him in my dreams and he was fat, healthy, and oh sooo cute. (Oh and he was a boy too. lol) =]

Emergency Room Scare And 15 Weeks Pregnant
Last night I started bleeding pretty bad. There was a ton of blood, way more than a normal period.
So, I drove myself to the emergency room.
I was scared. I thought I was going to lose my baby.
While sitting in the waiting room to be seen, I kept feeling my baby move. Which did not make sense to me. If I was having a miscarraige, how could the baby still be wiggling?
Once they finally got me back to a room, the first thing they did was put me on an IV. Later they found the baby's heartbeat. A little while after that, they sent me to have an ultrasound. The baby looked just fine, and was wiggling all over the place.
When I got back to my ER room from the ultrasound, the Dr. finally examined me and told me my cervix was still closed. Which was a good thing. That meant I was not miscarrying my baby.
They finally let me go home about 5 am this morning.
So, I have cervititus, which is an inflamed cervix, and am stuck in bed today on bed rest. Lisa is taking really good care of me today!!
I am soooo glad my baby is ok. After all, I am kind of attached to it. =]

I Had Another Ultrasound Today!
I went to the doctor today for what I thought was a kidney infection. I was having lower back pain on each side of my back and running a low grade fever.
I get to the Dr. and he says my urine is crystal clear and showing no sign of infection. Which is great! So, I ask him why does he think I have back pain and a fever. He informs me that he thinks the back pain is just part of being pregnant, and my fever may be caused by a bug or perhaps a touch of the flu.
He said he will continue to run a few more tests on my urine and if he finds anything he will call me. He sent me home with a prescription for antibiotics and told me to call him if I happen to get worse.
I have a prenatal appointment on May 21st. So, if I do not hear from him before then, we will just follow up then.
The Doctor of course pulled out the ultrasound machine today to make sure that the baby is ok. The baby was wiggling as usual and looks as if he or she is upside down. We could clearly see the head and the body, and a couple of legs. Those legs look suspiciously like the same ones that are kicking me!! lol
