38 Weeks Dr. Appointment

I went to the Dr. No fricken change other than 50% effaced now. I was 20%. Still dilated the same.

So, no October baby for me... Dr. told me I could walk, and that could POSSIBLY help hurry things along. However, I CAN'T hardly walk!!!! When I get up I look like an old lady taking my first steps... lol But once I get up, I am ok till I almost pee on myself..

I am so aggrivated. I know this baby is gonna go past her due date too. I feel like I have been waiting 5 years for this baby. So, she just can't come too soon.

After being told to walk, we went to the mall and we walked. I got Olivia a red, black and white Christmas dress for her Christmas picture, a "Baby's first Christmas" sleeper for her to sleep in Christmas Eve, and a "Baby's first Christmas" outfit for her to wear Christmas day. She BETTER be here by Christmas! lol

I am just glad I did not get her a "baby's first halloween" outfit. lol But she does have a "Baby's first Thanksgiving" outfit... lol

I am mad, moody, and huge. I am ready to get the pain over with and bring my baby home. I want to be normal again. I want to be able to get up without walking like an old lady cause it feels like my legs are gonna fall off. I want to be able to make it to the bathroom when I have to pee. I want to get back into my prepregnancy clothes. I want to stay up all night holding my baby cause she is not ready to go back to sleep yet. I am ready and apparently she is just too comfortable to come out.

10 Days till my due date... UGH.

38 Weeks Pregnant

Well, baby and I have made it to 38 weeks.

There is really no change. I am still pregnant, still miserable, and still ready to have this baby.

I just feel blah.

Cramping Update!

Yesterday afternoon my crampss turned into contractions. They kept going for the rest of the day and my mama advised me to go to the hospital.

I really did not want to go to the hospital last night. While I was having close contractions, they just were not that bad. I could still talk during them, and while they were producing some discharge, it was not enough for me to run to the hospital.

So, I get to the hospital and they hook me up and check me. I had dilated 1 when I first got there. The contractions kept coming and they were getting worse. Not to mention they made me lay on my back and I was SOOOO uncomfortable. I stayed there for 2 hours, and they came in and checked me again before I was sent home. I had dilated 2 total.

I was sent home dilated 2 and still contracting.... Dr. said I could possibly be back the next morning, or I could stay dilated 2 for weeks.

Last night the contractions kept up until I went to bed. I slept soooo gooood last night. I was really wore out. As of this morning, nothing. Notta. I don't think I will be going back to the hospital today.

I was really hurting while I was contracting in the hospital. I got a taste of pain and I am NOT looking forward to more. I really don't know how I am gonna get through labor. I am scared and it's gonna hurt like hell. An epidural is really sounding good at this point and I may just have to break down and have one when it's time.

I only have to dilate 2 more for them to keep me and have my baby. Either that, or if my water breaks. I have a Dr. appt in the morning and maybe I will be closer to 4!

19 days to go!!

37 Weeks Pregnant

I turned 37 weeks pregnant Monday.

I went back to the Dr. Sunday and my blood pressure was still up a little, but I was not sentenced to bedrest. He told me to just watch my salt intake... After I left the hospital Sunday I had a ton of energy. I came home, cleaned, Lisa and I walked up and down the driveway, and I literally wore myself out. I slept soooo good that night.

I woke up this morning about 3 am hurting. I thought I was hurting because I had to pee really bad. So, after I peed I realized that I was still hurting. I was cramping and they were different. They were dull, and low....

The cramping slacked off some about 7 am and I was able to go back to sleep for about an hour. But they are back now that I am up again. It feels like I am gonna start my period.

So, I am thinking this is not the real thing... But, I am HOPING that it turns into the real thing! I guess time will tell.

I cannot wait to have this baby!! There is a list of things I am gonna do when this baby gets out of me and the first thing is sleep on my tummy!

Also, it's getting cold here and I only have maternity capris and the only shoes that fit me lately are my flip flops. lol So, I am freezing!!!! I cannot justify going to buy long maternity pants knowing I only have 20 days left. So, I am just freezing. lol (Who would have thought it would get down below 50 here before halloween??? lol) Besides, I am hot more often than I am cold.. lol

I go back to the Dr. Thursday the 23rd. I will update then, or after I have the baby. Whichever comes first!

36 Weeks/ 9 Months Pregnant Update

This week I turned 9 months pregnant, or 36 weeks.

As of today I have 25 days left till my due date. I had a Dr. appt. today also.

I have not dialated at all. But my blood pressure was up today so my Dr. sent me home on bedrest and told me to lay on my left side as much as possible.

I go back to the hospital Sunday to the labor unit to have my blood pressure checked by the labor and delivery doctor and may be taken off of bedrest then.

Until then, I am in the bed. BLAH.

35 Weeks Pregnant

Today I turned 35 weeks pregnant.

Friday, the 3rd I had a Dr. appt. I asked my Dr. to check me for dialation. As of Friday I had not dialated at all. He said my cervix was also still very high.

However, I have been in almost constant pain since then. Sunday morning I lost some of my plug!

I am miserable. I thought I was miserable before. Well, Yeah I am more miserable than I was before.

This baby can come on out anytime she gets ready. I am ready. Bags are packed, and her room is finished. Just waiting on her. 35 Days to go!
