She was born on November 13th, at 10:38 Pm. She weighed 8 lbs 6 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long!
I went to the hospital on the evening of the 13th because I had a headache for the past week that would not go away. I was 3 days over my due date, and was not even in labor.
So, the Dr. examined me and I was dialated 3. My blood pressure was up, so he decided to induce me.
Because my blood pressure was up, I was put on Magnesium and treated as if I may have had Pre- eclampsia. They never said for sure whether or not I had it. I just know that it was hell being treated as if I did. The magnesium was given to me first, and it made me feel really crappy. Kind of like you were sick and just don't feel good.
After that the Dr. broke my water. At this point, I am still not contracting.
I was given pitocin to start my labor at 8:30 Pm that night. Soon after I got an epidural. I was in labor for 2 hours, pushed 3 times in the delivery room and she was here at 10:38 pm. Short and sweet!
