Dr Appt. Update!

I went to the Dr. today and everything is going good!

The Dr. confirmed that Olivia Grace is still a girl! (Good thing or that little boy would be coming home to a pink room! lol)

She is weighing about 4 Lb. and 4 Oz. at the moment. She is head down, and Dr. said she will probably stay that way. Her head and belly are so big that he could not get the full picture of either one on the ultrasound screen at the same time. So he gave me 3 ultrasound pics today and one is the partial head, one is the partial belly and the 3rd one is her little girl parts.

I decided not to ask the Dr. to check me for dialation because if I have started to dialate, that would just worry/scare me... and if I have not, then I would be wondering why I was having all those painful contractions for nothing. lol So I found it easier for to just now know at the moment...

He did say the painful contractions and discharge are perfectly normal and I really thought that they were.

He also said if I were to go into labor this early that she would be fine. But that he would prefer that she cook atleast 2 more weeks. Which I really think she will. I am sooo impatient that I really don't see me going into labor early. Even when it's ok. It's just not how stuff works out for me. lol I always have to wait...

I have not been having anymore contractions and the discharge has even let up. So, I am just waddling around (literally) and begging her to please get her little toes out of my ribs and to please stop poking my bladder. lol

Lisa and I went to the Zoo today and walked around. It was fun, but I had to stop and rest and pee a lot... Kind of reminded me of going to the Zoo with a 3 year old. lol Poor Lisa, she was very patient with me waddling slow and having to pee.. lol

I still have not packed our hospital bags... That is the last thing I have to do. I kind of think in the back of my mind that once that is done I will have nothing left to do to get ready for Olivia.. I guess that is why I am putting it off. But, I have started a pile of clothes to pack in my bedroom, and I am working on toiletries and piling them in my bathroom. So worse case scenerio I may have to throw them in a bag last minute... Oh and there are a few things I need to go and buy to pack still also.

I am not sleeping all night long, and when I wake up I really don't feel rested long before I need a nap. I am taking about 2 naps a day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon/evening. I wake up with my hips killing me and my bladder about to explode. Then once I am awake to go pee, I just kind of stay awake.. I don't remember sleeping being this hard when I was pregnant with Lisa and Charlie. Maybe it's my age. I don't know.

That is all I can think of right now! I go back to the Dr Oct. 3rd! I will be 33 weeks this coming Monday and Lisa's birthday is Tuesday. So I will have a busy weekend getting ready for her birthday. I still can't believe she will be 17. Lisa and this baby will be the same age difference that her and I are. Weird, huh?
